Ratafia is made according to the master formula, aged for 5 months and packaged in bottles of 75 cl.
It is an alcoholic drink made from tender walnuts and with various aromatic plants: mint, lemon grass, thyme, sage, basil, lavender... Firstly, the maceration is done for at least two months with water, alcohol, tender walnuts and selected herbs and spices. When the maceration is done, the resulting liquid is decanted and some sugar, alcohol and water is added, and is let to age in wooden barrels at least three months. The result is a sweet and intense caramel colour drink and with an alcoholic graduation of 26-29%. It is usually taken after meals as a digestive liqueur, but also at room temperature, but also as an aperitif or night drink, with an ice.
