PA AMB TOMÀQUET (BREAD WITH TOMATO)

This is definitely the accompaniment par excellence of Catalan cuisine, and for this reason it is the first recipe that I propose to you. It is very simple and combines perfectly with cold meat, grilled vegetables and anchovies, ham and Catalan sausage.

INGREDIENTS:

The slice of bread can be served toasted or untoasted (it is optional). The clove of garlic is cut in half and the top face of the slice of bread is rubbed to give it flavour. Tomatoes are cut in half and are dipped throughout the entire slice of bread taking advantage of the tomato pulp. Finally a spurt of olive oil is thrown on top.
